During the night, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have caused electricity outages in large parts of the capital city, Kyiv.
Nine people were hurt while inhabitants in the city's east were experienced blackouts and encountered disruption to water systems, according to city officials.
Simultaneously, a seven-year-old child was killed in a different aerial attack in the southeastern region in the southeastern part, according to area administrators.
Russian forces has increased assaults on energy facilities over recent weeks, while officials has requested "concrete actions" from international partners to increase pressure on Moscow.
"What's needed is not symbolic gestures but decisive action - from the US, the EU and the major economies - in delivering protection systems and enforcing restrictions," was stated in a online statement.
Authorities reported that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen missiles targeted Ukraine's energy infrastructure, labeling such assaults as "strategic and deliberate" and against "critical infrastructure" as the weather cools.
The energy minister said Russia was "inflicting a massive strike" and maintenance teams were striving to repair systems.
A wave of strikes hit electrical systems and residential structures in Kyiv.
Five out of the nine people injured in the assaults on the city have been transported for medical care, as confirmed by city authorities.
Regional authorities said the city endured intense attacks during nighttime hours. A minor was killed and several individuals were injured.
The assaults succeed evenings of bombing campaigns in the region, portions of which remain under the control of invading troops.
The entire country is on alert for sophisticated projectile assaults, which are more difficult to detect.
Authorities told the media that Russia was deliberately attempting to demolish the electrical infrastructure, with strikes already affecting fuel infrastructure.
He said utility staff and authorities were anticipating more assaults.
